14 Day Return Policy
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of your purchase (some restrictions apply, see further).
In-store Credit is a preferred and easier way if you intend to purchase something else from us. In-store credit does not expire and can be used on any game.
Refunds may be exceptionally offered if customer service has determined the refund request is reasonable (for example, proof that the game does not run on your Mac). Refunds can only be issued to the original funding source of the purchase.
Pre-Orders: By request, a pre-order purchase may be cancelled before the game is released and delivered to you (a pre-fulfilled "Key" only order no longer falls under this exception as you have been granted a "Key").
Back-Orders: By request, a back-order purchase may be cancelled before the order is fulfilled. If funds have already been captured to place the reservation, those funds will be returned.
"Key" Purchases: Any purchase that is for a "Key" only (Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, Rockstar, etc), is considered final when the key is fulfilled and revealed to the customer. By revealing a key you are only able to obtain a refund if there is a technical problem with claiming the game. All keys that do get returned are sent back to the Publisher for revocation on the respective service (which will remove the game from any user account that redeemed the key).
Circumventing Region Restrictions: Placing an order using an anonymous IP/VPN of a different country can cause complications during redemption and launching of region-blocked games. Those complications, through your actions to circumvent region restrictions, will not be the responsibility of this store; We will not honor a return/refund request.
Adding Funds to Wallet Exception: No refunds will be issued for any funds transferred to a MacGameStore/WinGameStore Wallet. Transfer is final upon order completion.
European Customers and "Keys": In compliance with industry standards regarding "Key" only purchases; If you live in the EU, revealing your key or activating the game in your MacGameStore/WinGameStore account means you waive your right to cancel your purchase under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 if the performance of our services has begun (for example, if the activation key has been disclosed to you).
Chained In-Store Credit Returns: Any game purchased with in-store credit cannot be returned for another in-store credit without a qualified reason.
Abuse Through Excessive Returns: We trust that you are making informed purchasing decisions and will use this Return Policy only if something doesn't work as you expected. We reserve the right to refuse refunds, or only offer Wallet Funds, in individual cases. If you simply played the game and didn't like it, please consider sharing your opinion instead. Also, please don't take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. We consider this abuse of our good nature, and will end up closing your account and having you try your scams elsewhere.
ALTERING YOUR COMPUTER OR OPERATING SYSTEM TO A STATE WHERE A GAME NO LONGER FUNCTIONS, DOES NOT PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS BEYOND OR NULLIFY THE ABOVE POLICY AND EXCEPTIONS.
